The Bonvia Letter
For the things you find along the way — and wish you’d known about sooner.
A place you stumble upon and can’t stop thinking about. A recipe that earns a permanent place at your table. A little discovery that makes you want to change your plans and see where the day takes you.
That’s what The Bonvia Letter is for.
Think memorable recipes, lovely places, unexpected detours, local finds and ideas worth keeping. Perhaps a new dish to try, a corner of the countryside you’ve never explored, or a story that hasn’t quite made it onto Bonvia Stories yet.
I collect the things that catch my curiosity. Every now and then, I’ll send a few your way.
A little of this, a little of that
There’s no set formula and no checklist to work through. Just a thoughtful mix of things worth discovering, trying or remembering.
Something for the table — recipes, seasonal cooking, baking experiments and good things coming out of my own kitchen.
Somewhere to wander — memorable places, hidden corners, lovely addresses and destinations worth taking the long way round for.
Worth knowing — local tips, day-out ideas, independent shops, unexpected stops and little finds you’ll want to pass along.
Stories from the in-between — personal discoveries, small adventures and the occasional story that hasn’t found its way onto the website.
Something unexpected — fresh inspiration, things to try and the occasional glimpse behind the scenes at Bonvia.
One letter might leave you hungry. Another might give you an idea for your next day out. You never quite know what you’ll find in the next one — and that’s part of the pleasure.
Infrequent, never in a hurry
The Bonvia Letter arrives a few times a year, whenever there’s something worth sharing.
No weekly emails, no crowded inbox and no need to keep up. Just an occasional letter, put together with care and sent when there’s something I’d genuinely like you to discover.
